The very low cost vision test bench

So the boss turned down your well-argued case for spending $5,000 on a vision test bench. Now what do you do?

Here’s what I did: get a USB webcam and a magnifying desk lamp that let’s you look through the center of a ring light. Then just download some free vision software – use one of the links I provided previously – and you’re in business.

Just don’t tell the boss you can do it for – almost – free until he’s declined your request for money!
