I Googled “machine vision” and got 2,230,000 hits. (Yes, it was a vanity Google.) High up on the first page was Image Labs International, a component distributor and integrator in Utah. Now I don’t know this company at all, but judging by their list of custom solutions, they’ve been around and know their stuff. They also have a lens selection program that I’m going to try.
The other hint that Image Labs are doing something right comes from their page ranking. Anyone who can get to number four out of two million must have plenty of in-bound links (and maybe a good SEO consultant.)
