If you said that the color pic came from the webcam, you were correct. My machine vision camera only has a monochrome sensor. You might also have noticed some significant optical distortion in the monochrome (or greyscale) image. Two points for the webcam then?
The webcam pic (color) looks out of focus. Now I’m not claiming to have perfect eyes, so there may a degree of poor focus, but there’s something else going on.
Well no. If you look closely at the two images posted today, you’ll see that the color image lacks the sharpness of the machine vision camera. The small print under the last “L” of “Lysol” is a good example, and to save you from scrolling down to yesterdays post, here it is again, enlarged.
