Cheer up people!

The data says that business conditions are improving, so why are the pundits so gloomy?
I’ve been sharing good news from companies like Cognex and Dalsa for several months now, but seems as though many people would rather listen to ‘talking heads’ than believe the hard numbers.

At least I’m not the only one frustrated by this atmosphere of negativity. David Belforte,of Industrial Laser Solutions makes the same observation in “Time to move on.” (May 20th 2010.) True, he’s looking at the industrial laser market rather than machine vision, but I think his comments have some universality to them. The data says business is picking up quickly, so let’s get with the program or else be caught napping!

If we don’t wake up to the opportunities that our there I think we risk talking ourselves back into recession, so let’s put on our happy faces everyone!
