Time for a Hall of Fame?

In “Leaving DVT smart cameras behind” (June 12^th, 2012,) I flippantly suggested it was time for a museum of machine vision. Geralyn Miller, who runs the blog at Teledyne Dalsa, was obviously paying attention, and came back with another suggestion: “maybe we should be talking about a Machine Vision Hall of Fame”.

That seems like a pretty good idea to me. I’m sure we can all think of several names to nominate. Geralyn did ask where it should be located, but I’m thinking a virtual Hall of Fame would be more appropriate for the pioneers of machine vision.
