Mutually exclusive concepts, right? Wrong! Or so says Valerie Bolhouse.
I recently took 45 minutes to watch this webcast on “Applying six sigma to machine vision.” The presenter, Valerie Bolhouse, makes some good points about using vision upstream for early error detection and error prevention and if you’ve been following my earlier postings you’ll know that’s a strategy close to my heart. But what really got my attention was her discussion on performing GR&R studies on vision systems. She has some great advice on how to perform a study that yields useful data. You will want to take notes.
