Demand for vision specialists growing?

Here's yet more evidence of a robust jobs market for people who really understand how to use and apply machine vision. Braintech, the Canadian developer of sophisticated systems for robot guidance, amongst other applications, is looking for a Robot Vision Scientist. (I assume that means a scientist who is a specialist in robot vision rather than a scientist automaton. The link is from the "If tomorrow comes ..." blog.)

And I don't even bother mentioning the many open positions that Cognex seems to have. Just log on to Dice and search there to see what they have.
