I was, naturally, skeptical when I read that the 1394 Trade Association was declaring 1394b superior to GigE, but it turns out that it’s Fraunhofer who are saying this, not the Trade Association. I have no reason to doubt the impartiality of the Fraunhofer, so I guess it’s true. Here’s a link to the press release; check it out for yourself.
