Yesterday I challenged you to make a list of easy machine vision tasks and a second list of difficult tasks. Well here’s my attempt.
OK, I admit that’s a little tongue-in-cheek, but hopefully it got the message across. There are no easy vision applications, and if you find one that appears straightforward you should be wondering what it is you’ve missed.

My colleagues and I pretty much make it a rule not to use the word "easy" when describing a machine vision application and will call each other on it if we happen to slip. Phrases like "seems straightforward" or "well defined" tend to be a more accurate when describing a less cumbersome application.
