Been there, done that

I’m often asked where people should go to get a better understanding of lighting and optics. The various vendors do a great job of explaining how and where their hardware should be used, but for honest, independent advice, you can’t beat learning from someone with a long track record of actually making it happen.

That’s why I’m suggesting anyone new to machine vision sign up for this webcast: “
Understanding optics and light,” sponsored by Vision Systems Design magazine and presented by Valerie Bolhouse.

In her previous life Valerie was a staff technical specialist in machine vision with Ford; these days she provides machine vision education and instruction in a clear and understandable manner.

The webcast is scheduled for February 10th, so sign up quickly!
