Here’s a little quiz for all you experts in machine vision lighting … watch the video, shot earlier this month at NI Week in Austin, TX., then answer this question: the object of the exercise is to calculate the trajectory of the dart in flight. We are shown two cameras but we don’t see any illumination, so how does this work?

We can clearly see ringlight and "mirror" filter on each camera. So they are using probably IR lights and filtering out all visible light.
