VGR by webcam

Roborealm is a low cost machine vision software package popular among robotics hobbyists but I haven’t been aware of away one using it in a more industrial context.

Until now. On the blog “Profmason.com,” Professor Mason of Walnut, California has posted a tutorial, ”Controlling an Industrial Robotic Arm using Computer Vision” that describes how to use Roborealm and a webcam to control a Mitsubishi industrial robot.

This is a great little article for anyone interested either in figuring out what to do with Roborealm, or in learning more about vision guided robotics. If that’s you, use the links above to read more.
