Hot on the heels of Dalsa’s impressive financial results come those from Stemmer Imaging. For those not in the know, Stemmer is the largest distributor of vision components in Europe, so their sales tell us a lot about business conditions on the continent.
And the news seems to be very good. According to this press release, for the fiscal year ending June 30th 2010 Stemmer was able to generate revenues above plan in both Germany and France (which implies that the UK fell below plan.) As Stemmer is, I believe, a privately-held company, no information is available on profitability: one assumes however that they are making money.
